Yes. While not open source, the licenses for Tasks Pro™, Tasks™ and Tasks Jr. are liberal to allow you to modify the products to fit your individual needs. The PHP code is not obfuscated or encoded except for the code that secures the number of users allowed by your license. The main restrictions are:

• You may not re-distribute your modifications without prior approval.
• You may not add features that are already included in a higher priced product.
