CSS for a darker background

    Hi

    I love the implementation of the ajax sliding comments, that's why I'm looking to move from theme hybrid to carrington blog.

    But, I like a layout where the content has a lighter background than the overall background. It makes the content sort of pop out.

    Unfortunately I haven't been able to set the css properly to get a global dark background (say color #51555c), and have a white(ish) background for the content. Take a look at hybrid original by Justin Tadlock to see what I have now and would like to keep. How do I change the css properly?

      After some tinkering I got it about right:

      #main {
      padding-top:24px;
      background:#242D36;
      }
      #content {
      float: left;
      padding-bottom: 24px;
      width: 530px;
      padding-left:10px;
      padding-right:10px;
      background-color: #FFFFFF;
