Twitter Tools 2.4
I passed the authentification process of linking Twitter API to Twitter Tools (unlike the posters in the other thread, "Not working with latest WordPress? (3.2.1)").
However, after activating the plugin and applying basic settings (Yes to tweet blog posts, and Yes to make blog post from tweets; the rest left as was), nothing happens.
I clicked Update and Reset Tweets, and the hook(?) in the address bar indicates tweet-checking-reset=true
What's going on?

My latest blog post did get tweeted, but I have yet to get any tweets appearing as blog posts.
The Application Permission is set to Read and Write, and authentification passed, as I mentioned above.
There seem to be very few answers to user issues in the forum. Should we conclude that this plugin has been abandoned?
Nusha Balyan I have the exact same question and it seems a few other people too, but I haven't seen one reply on this forum. Does anyone have an answer?

Dark Fuzz I had fought with this on and off over months, but finally took a good, long look at it today, and found that my server's time was set incorrectly, despite using NTP to keep it in sync.
It turns out that:
A.) If your time isn't correct, it is likely the Twitter OAuth will fail, and you will not get any tweets
B.) If you are running a linux server as a VM, you may have to update an option to be able to control your date & time.
Resolution:
1.) First, check your time ("date" alone will output the date on a linux install)
2.) Second, if your linux install is a virtual machine, look into and/or just run this command: "echo 1 > /proc/sys/xen/independent_wallclock"
3.) Third, either manually set your time with the "date" command or, better, utilize NTP to set & keep your clock in sync with the current time around the world. (You'll have to research NTP on your own, but check /etc/ntp.conf and "man ntpd" for help)
