Two reply boxes in single post view?

    Hi,

    I'm fairly new to run a Wordpress site and was very happy to come across the Carrington theme, since it fits my needs very well. But I was wondering how to turn off its habit to display two reply boxes in single post view.

    More specifically, in single page view, the blog already shows the box for leaving a reply, even if the 'show comments' option is disabled. Hence, once the button 'Show comments' (or 'No comments') is pressed, there are suddenly two reply boxes.

    Any ideas how to get rid of this behaviour? I'm happy to make changes to the template files, if necessary.
