Quick, clean theme implementation
We have some of the best web developers who focus on semantic, standards-friendly markup. Taking a Photoshop design and implementing it as a WordPress theme is a detail-oriented process that requires filling in some gaps and making some assumptions. Many sites like to tout a featured article using a large image and Street Date was looking for the same. Using WordPress' sticky posts and a custom Featured Image plugin (pre-WordPress 2.9), editors can easily flag a post to be included at the top of the homepage and display a large image associated with the post. The Featured Image plugin was also used to associate album artwork with each post.
