Tasks Pro™ » Properties
Properties are bits of information about a task/note. By defining these bits of information in separatly labeled chunks, we can do interesting things with the information like sort your task list by Date Due or Priority; or show all tasks that are more than 50% complete.
Here is a list of all of the properties of a task and a description of each property:
- Owner

The Owner of a task or note is the person responsible for that item.
- Private

If a task is marked Private, only the Owner of that task/note can view it.
- Group Permissions on Tasks/Notes

Each task/note can specify which group(s) have permission to view/edit this task/note. Adding a group to a task allows all members of that group to see/edit the task according to their User Permissions.
- Title

Use the Title property to enter a brief description of the task or note.
- Notes Field

Use the Notes Field to hold the details of the task or note.
- Date Due

The Date Due is the date a task is to be completed by. Notes do not have this property.
- Recurring Task

The Recurring Task property allows you designate a task as a recurring task.
- URL Fields

You can attach URLs to tasks and notes using the URL Fields.
- Files

You can attach files to tasks and notes.
- % Complete

The % Complete property can be set on any task that does not have sub-tasks to indicate how far along you are on that task. Notes do not have this property.
- Priority

You can set the Priority for a task to indicate how important it is. Notes do not have this property.
- Parent

The Parent property holds the ID of the task or note above this task or note in the Task Hierarchy.
- Sticky
-

Sometimes a task is ongoing and it is not fully complete, even when its sub-tasks are all completed or the current status is 100%. Or perhaps, you have completed the task in question but you want to remember to go back and check on it again later. Making a task sticky means it will still show up on the Home Screen (if it is a root task) and in the task tree.
- Favorite

The Favorite property allows you to mark a task or note as a favorite.
- Fixed-width

If it is enabled in your Preferences, the Fixed-width checkbox will show the Notes Field with a fixed-wdth font.
- Billable

Check the Billable checkbox if the task is for a project you are billing on.
- Time Spent

Use the Time Spent property to keep track of how long each task took.
- Date Entered

The Date Entered property shows the date and time the task or note was created (and by who).
- Last Modified

The Last Modified property shows the date and time the task or note was last modified (and by who).
- Task RSS Feed

Each task has a Task RSS Feed.
- Task iCalendar

Each task has a Task iCalendar.
- View Task iCalendar

Click the View Task iCalendar link to open the iCalendar for this task in PHP iCalendar.
