E-mail Notifications

Tasks Pro™ has three kinds of e-mail notifications - some of which are optional:
Daily Reminders

If you'd like to receive daily e-mail reminders about your upcoming and high priority tasks, you can choose to do so in your Preferences. You can also choose to only receive these e-mails when you have upcoming or high priority tasks you need to be aware of.

Task Assignment/Update Notifications

If you want to know when other users have assigned a task to you or edited or completed a task for you, you can choose to do so in your Preferences.

E-mail Preferences

With this option, whenever a task or note is created by someone else and assigned to you, you will receive an email notification. An e-mail notification is also sent to you whenever someone else edits or completes one of your tasks.

When a task is marked complete by someone who isn't the original task creator, an e-mail notification is also sent to the person who created and assigned the task.

Manual Notifications

Whenever you save a task (or a note) or mark a task complete, you can choose to notify other users in your groups about the changes. Click on the name of a group to select all users in the group, or check the boxes next to individual users and each of them will be sent an e-mail summary of the task (or note).
