The Sidebar is in the upper left corner of every screen. Each of the items in the sidebar are available to you at all times.

Here is a description of what each item does.

Home Button

The Home Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the Home Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+h" on Mac, "alt+h" on Windows.

New Task Button

The New Task Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the New Task Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+t" on Mac, "alt+t" on Windows.

New Note Button

The New Note Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the New Note Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+n" on Mac, "alt+n" on Windows.

Search Button

The Search Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the Search Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+h" on Mac, "alt+h" on Windows.

Upcoming Button

The Upcoming Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the Upcoming Tasks Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+u" on Mac, "alt+u" on Windows.

Sortable Button

The Sortable Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the Sortable Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+b" on Mac, "alt+b" on Windows.

Tags Button

The Tags Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the Tags Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+g" on Mac, "alt+g" on Windows.

Favorites Button

If enabled in your Preferences, the Favorites Button on the Sidebar will show the Favorites Window.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+f" on Mac, "alt+f" on Windows.

Calendar Button

If enabled, the Calendar Button on the Sidebar will open the included PHP iCalendar in a new browser window, populated with your tasks data for the range you specified in your Preferences.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+c" on Mac, "alt+c" on Windows.

History Button

The History Button on the Sidebar will bring you to the History Screen.

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+y" on Mac, "alt+y" on Windows.

Quick Search

The Quick Search lets you do a simple keyword search from anywhere in Tasks

Keyboard shortcut: "ctrl+q" on Mac, "alt+q" on Windows.

Preferences Link

The Preferences Link on the Sidebar will bring you to the Preferences.

Admin Link

The Admin Link on the Sidebar will bring you to the Server Settings.

Log Out Link

The Log Out Link on the Sidebar will end your Tasks session and take you back to the Log In Screen.
