Crowd Favorite doesn’t come to the table today purporting solutions to the sad, painful, long-tenured, and nuanced issue of bigotry in the United States, but rather we bring our empathy, our humanity, our patience, our understanding, and most importantly our love to all communities affected by the stain of generations of racial injustice.
Crowd Favorite believes in a world of equal access and opportunity, where the security and safety of our loved ones is a given, not an uncertainty. It is why Crowd Favorite is born out of and embodies the Open Source software values of democracy, freedom, equality, respect, and humanity. Connecting human beings to one another, finding our commonalities and focusing on bringing people together is what we do in the digital world. We will continue to do our part in the endeavor for a more equal union and look forward to standing with all against injustice and inequality.
To that end, it is not lost on us here that we remain a predominantly white company, in a still predominantly white industry. And while we will always value and prioritize diversity of ideas and experiences on our team, we know, like so many in our industry we must do more.
We know to be our best and provide the utmost value to not only customers, but to society, we must bring to the table the best, most diverse, Favoriteers we can find. As a digital solutions partner, we promise to increase our focus on pursuing and hiring as diverse and elite a team as possible to bring forth the very best solutions for our clients and our communities. As someone said recently, if you don’t know what to do as a business, “make the hire, and/or write the check”. In other words, put your money where your mouth is - and we intend to do that.
We are working to do better, understand this will take time, and are committed to investing in the education, resources, and support needed to create necessary change in our organization and our community. If you’d like more information on what Crowd Favorite is specifically doing to address systemic bigotry please contact us at Hello@CrowdFavorite.com.
