We are the partner who can help design, build, launch, maintain and scale your web project. We will happily jump in at any point along that continuum.
You’re the expert at your business and content needs, but we can help with your information architecture and visual design.
When building an application or unique user experience, let us help with your design strategy, too.
Once your site or application is designed, we can help you define your content management strategy.
This includes everything from user workflow to content relationships.
When your project calls for third-party integrations we’ll design the best way for that data to co-exist.
We also perform content migrations from proprietary and Open Source systems to WordPress.
WordPress plugins, WordPress themes, and API integrations are tools we use to build complex sites.
A project is never finished, only launched.
We provide ongoing support in the form of code reviews, maintenance, ongoing development, pro-active upgrades, training and beyond.
We take an active role in your project no matter where you’d like us to come in along the continuum.
You may already have a design: we have the experience to review it, ask the right questions, and steer the discussion towards the implementation of an elegant product. You may already have a website: we can review the code, help propose improvements, and maintain it from here forward. You may have a brand new idea and want to start from square one: we can help make it a reality.
We do more than just produce comps and code: we place a lot of value on the discovery and discussion that happens at the beginning and throughout a project. We’ve found that allows us to create solutions that meet your needs (be they content, business, user experience, etc.) and exceed your expectations.
In addition to being a team of professional designers and developers, we have support staff unmatched by most. Our project managers are more than email jockeys shuffling notes between clients and co-workers; they’re technical and they know how to chat with stakeholders and implementers alike to weigh the implementation, timing, and budget options as they arise. A successful project includes testing, budgeting, vendor and stakeholder coordination, and documentation; our team provides it all.
We assume you’d like to be part of our “always improving” culture, as nearly all projects include building something we haven’t before: integrating with a new API, using a new development technique, or designing something entirely different. You receive the experience, techniques, and Open Source benefits from our previous projects in order for us both to begin thinking about and working on the more interesting stuff sooner.
If this sounds like what you need in a partner, we’ll be happy to explore your initial technical, functional, and design requirements (or RFP, assuming it includes those details). We do ask that you share your timeline and budget up front so that we can help assess the feasibility of different development approaches. Then, we’ll gladly invest several hours of time with you (at no charge) in project exploration and in creating a proposal.
Please take a moment to review our process materials to learn more about what an overall project could look like. We look forward to hearing from you.
And these are just the ones we can tell you about.
We've been lucky to work with the National Geographic Society since 2010. We've helped migrate and consolidate blogs, design and build new online properties and experiences, and we're proud to continue to support and maintain those websites.
