Crowd Favorite was proud to sponsor WordCamp Orange County in 2014. Our team showed up en masse (18 Favoriteers!) to participate and meet others in the WordPress community. Our own Jeff Zinn and Brandon Dove did a lot of heavy lifting for this event so we raise a glass to their efforts.
We had a couple of Favoriteers do talks at this year's event. The first day kicked off with Chris Lema talking about how to get the most out of your blog. He dove into how he makes his blog work for him and pay for itself. Check out his slides and watch the video.
I also took to the stage Saturday afternoon to talk about using Sass in WordPress themes. I ran through all the basics on how to get started with Sass and streamline your workflow. Check out my slides and watch the video.
There were tons of other speakers loaded with good information. The food trucks at lunch were another highlight. All in all the event was a great success and we look forward to next year!
