What is FavCreate?
Welcome to FavCreate, where our Crowd Favorite team takes a break from the daily grind to focus on our own innovative digital ideas. Twice a year, we gather together in teams for two action packed days of creativity and coding. The end result of FavCreate is not only a recharged team of Favoriteers, but also a handful of impressive digital solutions to be shared with our company and clients.
We were lucky to have FavCreate May 2022 take place in person at our Romanian Office. Our team traveled from all over to work together for two days on their projects. The day includes some friendly competition, at the computer and the ping-pong table! After the day was over, we all celebrated the success over a fun team dinner. It is an amazing opportunity to work side by side, laugh, and enjoy time as a team.

FavCreate May 2022 Projects
Our May 2022 FavCreate teams worked on four projects starting with proof of concept, working through a prototype/demo, and ending with presentations during our monthly company meeting.
Here is a quick summary of the projects for this FavCreate:
Block Theme Builder
This would be a web GUI that allows a user to visually configure and build a new WordPress theme using the new theme.json file.
Code Score
Create a tool that analyses the code of a project and then generates a score that represents the code quality of the project.
Party Press
This would be a WP plugin implementation of the PartyTown library which offloads 3rd-party JavaScript to a web worker.
Valet Butler
An all-in-one CLI tool that monitors and displays application and server performance of local Valet development environments.
Vue Client for Laravel
This would be a Vue client for Laravel, something different than the Livewire front-end templated being used for Orthicon.
