RAMP: Glossary

Let\'s start off with some terminology.

  • Staging Server: the server that content is being sent from

  • Production Server: the server that content is being sent to

  • Batch: a collection of content to be sent from one server to another

  • Preflight: a detailed look at items in the batch to check for potential errors

  • Rollback: revert a single batch's content to the state it was in before the batch was imported
