RAMP is Creating pagename-2 Instead of Updating pagename

Since RAMP cannot rely on post/page IDs it uses the GUID property of the post/page to map content in the staging environment to content in the production environment. If a page/post in your staging environment has a different GUID than a page/post in your production environment, RAMP sees these as two different pieces of content.

Note that this is a known issue with WP Engine's "create staging" feature.

There are several ways to address this issue:

1. Create the staging environment using our recommended steps.
2. Delete the content in question in your production environment (you may have to "empty trash" after deleting) and create it again by pushing it from your staging environment. This may be preferable if you've made considerable changes to your staging environment.
