Why Information Architecture Matters
Your digital content is only as powerful as its structure and exceptional marketing results require more than just technology—they demand a well-structured digital ecosystem. With over 15 years of experience working with enterprise clients using Open Source and mixed technology stack architectures, our information architecture services ensure your content is organized to meet both user needs and business goals. We build flexible, scalable frameworks that align with your business's current and future needs, driving sustained growth and engagement.
We address common pain points such as:
- Fragmented Content: Disorganized and hard-to-navigate content leads to frustration.
- Inefficient User Journeys: Complex digital environments hinder seamless navigation, causing drop-offs.
- Lack of Flexibility: Static frameworks cannot adapt to changing business or market needs, limiting long-term growth.

Tailored Solutions for Your Technology Stack
Information Architecture for Open Source Systems
Open Source systems such as WordPress and Drupal offer significant flexibility and cost-saving advantages, but without proper architecture, these systems can become difficult to manage.
Client: Flock Freight

Information Architecture for a Mixed Technology Stack
Mixed technology stacks combine the strengths of SaaS, or proprietary software, with the flexibility and customization of Open Source solutions. This integrated approach allows businesses to maintain a scalable, feature-rich environment while benefiting from Open Source innovation. We excel at integrating solutions across diverse technology environments, including Open Source and proprietary software, to create the best user experience.
Client: National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
Challenge: NATAS runs multiple competitions a year, which means multiple instances of the old system were required, making it difficult for people to use. The older system was a closed system which meant new features took a long time to be developed and combined with the day-to-day manual practices NATAS developed over time - including manual data entry - it became difficult and time consuming.
Solution: Built a complex, bespoke judging application designed to run multiple instances of itself in order to streamline and optimize the overall process required to organize large events. This ensures a smooth transition between processes as different departments need to access the platform.
Results:
- 50+ Entertainment Categories
- 1,000 Registered Applicants & Judges
- 3,000+ Entries Processed & Judged
- 4,000+ Television Entries Submitted

Information Architecture for
Digital Experience Platforms (DXP)
A well-architected Digital Experience Platform (DXP) serves as the cornerstone of this effort, providing the flexibility and scalability needed to adapt to changing market demands. It is not just a collection of tools but a unified platform that brings together content, commerce, and data to create compelling digital experiences.
Client: Academic Partnerships
Challenge: The existing solution relied heavily on IT and a complex, multi-application workflow to create personalized solutions for university partners. Each client website required manual updates and presented hurdles for marketing.
Solution: A custom plugin suite of tools was built to rapidly deploy new partner sites allowing control of every aspect of the web design workflow from a single source of truth.
Results: 92% reduction in production time for partner universities’ marketing and editorial staff when creating new sites.
